Calculated dates follow the Umm al-Qura calendar. In Pakistan the month starts after the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee's moon sighting, which can be a day later. Change this if your local date differs.

The Hijri calendar is a lunar calendar of 12 months, each of 29 or 30 days, so a Hijri year is about 11 days shorter than an English (Gregorian) year. That is why Ramadan and Eid come about 11 days earlier every year. The calendar starts from the Hijrah of the Prophet (peace be upon him) from Makkah to Madinah.
This tool calculates dates with the Umm al-Qura calendar used in Saudi Arabia. In Pakistan, each new month officially begins after the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announces the moon sighting, so the Pakistani date is sometimes one day behind. Use the adjustment box to match your local date. For Ramadan and Eid, always follow the official announcement.
